Why we started
Tired of gold that gave up after a fortnight
Every woman knows the pattern. A pretty necklace, a good price, and two weeks later a green mark on the skin and a chain that has turned the colour of a 2p coin. The pieces that lasted cost a month's rent.
Hushmode London exists for the space in between: jewellery you can afford to buy on a whim and still be wearing years later.
What we make
Stainless steel underneath. 18K gold on top.
Every piece starts as hypoallergenic stainless steel, then gets a thick 18K gold plating. That combination is what lets it go through the shower, the sea and the gym without tarnishing or fading.
The details are where we spend our time: mother-of-pearl clovers, freshwater pearls, hand-set crystals and clasps that actually close with one hand.
How we design
Built to mix, stack and layer
Nothing in the collection is designed to be worn alone. Clover necklaces sit under pearl chains, tennis bracelets next to charm bracelets, three thin rings on one finger. Same gold tone across every piece, so anything goes with anything.
That is also why there is one price for every piece, and why the collection is built for sets of five: a necklace, a bracelet, a ring and two pairs of earrings, and your jewellery box is done.
